JustHost has unlimited everything. On limedomains, the hosting is free, but the domains cost 10.00$. On justhost, the domain is free with the 3.95 hosting...

Re: Our own website

Or we can get an 89c .info domain from GoDaddy, and use this hosting with it. http://help.godaddy.com/article/994

(I know a cheat to remove the ads)

Re: Our own website

Id rather have a .org or something like that, .info wouldn't really suit us, since we aren't an information related group.

Magnie'sAwesomePlace.net Free websites, freedomains, free everything! XD That would be awesome if it were true. :P

I'm 12, but age doesn't mean anything really... I'm reading a book ( Hackers by Steven Levy ) and they say something like "Don't judge people by their looks, age, degree, ect... Judge them by their Hacking" So it doesn't matter how old we are, it matters how well we program and do other stuff. :D

Well, I'm 10 but I am pretty smart for my age.

same as me. kinda nerdy. although, when someone at school has a problem with their computer, i always have to go help them. and, i usually fix the problem. and as Magnie said: don't judge them by their age. just by their hacking :)

Re: Our own website

Alright you guys. Should we set up a donate box? If we get 89c, we can get a domain w/ free hosting.

We need a donate box, who'll be hosting? Not Goddaddy, since they advertise on it. Maybe once we get up V0.1 of M30W with a GUI, we ask the Scratch team to put up an announcement or something, then we put up the donate box on the Gershmer hosted version, untill we have enough money to pay for a proper hosting and domain. So after we've done that we wont have to worry with advertising on out site.

No. You can remove the Godaddy ads with some code.

Use the 89c. .info domain and use the cheat to remove the ads on the free hosting.

But if you can remove the ads, just get a free .com and remove them.

There are no free domains.

And this hack is for Godaddy free hosting only.
