Re: Forum Chat Room

the only problem with using IDLE is that its subprocess interferes with pygame. :(
OFF TOPIC: what is the most used python editor, do you think?
i used to use Stani's Python Editor, before I installed a python 2.6.4, and it didn't work anymore. :D

Re: Forum Chat Room

did you see that the Stani's Python Editor subversion allows many people to work on the same source code at the same time?
here is the link:

Hey, will you sponsor Opal, as a spin-off of Emerald? You're welcome to use the base, but I'd like to continue working on it.

Thank you. As it's based on Emerald, anyone on the Emerald team can work on it... I just want to see how it turns out.

Yes, i did. i have no idea how it got deleted. i saved it about a million times.... :/
anyways, i am working on a new version with much more modularity. (using defs)
you should be able to add new functions by writing:

Code:

elif user_command == 'your command here':
your_function_here()

then we could just simply add new functions for every version with the core i made. :)

weeeeeeel....... my computer is in my dad's home office, where my parents kept all the christmas presents. so i couldn't work on emerald, (or meow or whatever) all christmas week. THEN, when christmas was over, my dad changed his office around, adding another computer for his other work to replace mine. so now my copy of emerald is somewhere on my hard drive, which is in my old tower. so i can't get to it. next week i am getting a new laptop, however, so i can work on it then. :|
do you realize that meow or emerald is a scripting language written in a scripting language written in C?  when i get the graphics module done, it might be really slow.
