Really? Where? Seriously, that was my own idea.

Oh, that one... seen that before, but that wasn't where my idea came from. But it is basicly the sme one, but thats outdated. It talks about PyGame Screen, we agreed a while back that PyGame wasn't what we wanted.

:| bump

Lets get some work done people!
I'd do it if I could, but I can't, so come on! We can take a break and maybe do some work on the game after this, we can get people on scratch to have a play with it once we get this working.

Ok, what functions do we need that we don't know how to do yet? I'm in the mood for some research. :)

By Gerhsmer
-Multiple Sprites (this involves more re-coding than you think, floppy wrote the code as if the sprite was built in and not actually part of a "project", actually part of the GUI built into M30W, itself)
-Fix the add variable button to not do anything when no text is entered in the field
-Create an about window
-Thumbnails for sprites
-Seperate scripts for each sprite (when you switch sprites, you'll see a different text box filled with THAT sprite and only THAT sprite's scripts)

In that order. :D

Ok, I'm planning on taking apart 0.3.9 and see how it works and try to add stuff. May I fix the add variable button first? That might be a good place to start for me.

EDIT: Ok, I can't read any of the code that M30W is written in. If someone besides me can code it, here is what we need to do for fixing the Add Variable thing: If the add variable box doesn't contain any characters, ignore when the user clicks the add variable button. Or, have no box and make a window pop up that asks you what you want your variable name to be. Horrible ASCII art of a (possible) add variable window:

no, I mean can you use the same method of doing it?

No, that used Pickle, I don't think that'll be able to cope with what we plan to do, plus the others don't like it for some reason.

I hate pickle.

plaintext files are much better.

Re: M30W 0.3.9 Dev Thread

I'm sorry, but I have far too little time on my hands. I won't be able to do any more programming for a long time. I can only check up on the site once a month or less. I enjoyed being part of this team, and I hope I can continue the work we started sometime in the future. But for now, Goodbye. *sniff*

I haven't worked with any programming languages since I released M30W ++ GUI.

I have never really liked python, but I've never really tried with it either

It's getting closer to february.

Uh
