No wai. t35 has a 1 meg singlefilesize limit.
The site'd be the only thing done by now.

Lol. 1MB?

That's crazy!!!

How can I host all my random junk?

Seriously, I'll post a screenshot of the / directory of my site.

Growing all the time.

Now, you may think those images are all images that go on web pages, they have a purpose. WRONG!

They are for my various hosting purposes.

Like http://gershmer.net/page.html was just for testing <a name=>.

http://gershmer.net/Windows7RC.png was just me sharing a screenshot of My Windows 7 Setup (in a VM, btw)

And so on...

Re: Diamond (Foremly Emerald+ Editor (Foremly Diamond))

so it gets down to a point that we make it, and when we make it big, we tell MIT Media Lab and kindly ask them to host the site of ours. Back on the topic, I still don't know how to configure all this stuff...

Re: Diamond (Foremly Emerald+ Editor (Foremly Diamond))

My maximum is 5 MB per file. ;) But Emerald Projects are so small ( 1-10 KB ) it wouldn't matter cause everything is just text, even Emerald is less than 5 MB!  But wait, that's for the Online FTP not offline, so I could have unlimited as long as I keep the bandwidth above 80 GB, so if are website gets REALLY popular, then that's when I may start having problems. I think that when we configure the program to upload projects, we receive it and then we have to official it, cause I don't want my website become overloaded.

Re: Diamond (Foremly Emerald+ Editor (Foremly Diamond))

You meant "below". Below 80 GB. And, while Emerald is still under construction, let's better don't make the sharing part now. When it's ready (including the PyGame, sprites and projects in the standard I told you on Scratch forums), the project size will depend on compression, used resources, stuff like that. It'd be like Scratch project - from 40-some KB up to 10+ MB...

I'm currently working on Emerald Website (y'know, an ASP.Net one). Gershmer's hosting supports, I knows.

Re: Diamond (Foremly Emerald+ Editor (Foremly Diamond))

ASP.Net, that pages with .aspx extension - I don't know PHP, so I'll write a news system in C# for ASP.Net, and that's why we're gonna do it there, until I have enough money to pay the hosting for MinkoSoft site. What do you think about www. minkosoft. com?

You fail for misspelling my name.

Re: Diamond (Foremly Emerald+ Editor (Foremly Diamond))

^ The point filo5 and I are making is that I have MySQL, ASP.NET and Access database support, for future stuffs.

Well, not ASP.NET, that I'm letting Filo work on now...

Re: Diamond (Foremly Emerald+ Editor (Foremly Diamond))

Gershmer, you possibly can learn C# for Web Development (that's what I'm using) and help me with the site...

For the logo (Marky): NOT_THIS_ONE. It doesn't look pro.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft_Access

This what MS Access itself is.

My website has support for these databases to be used just like a MySQL one.

Re: Diamond (Foremly Emerald+ Editor (Foremly Diamond))

ok, why dont we just rent some hosting space, totaly add free, and it'll have its own domain dame, no Mintriver or Gershmer (spelt right this time?) in front of it. and it doesn't cost that much, does it?
