M3OW/Emerald Installer

This is the install version of Emerald 0.3.2 (or 0.3b). Check out the MSI and graphics. I can post XCFs if you want. See the files in my folder on mediafire.

...I know we're M3OW now, but this was still Emerald. I'll rename it to M3OW when we have M3OW ready.

Re: M3OW/Emerald Installer

Terms and Conditions are a LGPL license. It's just an illustration of installer we could have. And it's done from Gersh's py2exe version, that's why so big.

Re: M3OW/Emerald Installer

Well its not as large as some installers.

The largest one i have on my computer is 38.5 MB which was for a 3D program. So its quite small, yet quiet large for the size of file its installing.

Re: M3OW/Emerald Installer

It's because tcl and tk are included. they are so fat.

Actually, PyGame installer is copied with Emerald files.

Re: M3OW/Emerald Installer

No, PyGame is an install package which is copied to the directory, and tk/tcl is was included to Gersh's py2exe compilation.

Re: M3OW/Emerald Installer

I think I'll just switch back to NSIS. Sometimes, having an MSI is good, but seriously, NSIS supports skins, more plugins and actions, and it's programmable, so I can even include custom actions and dialogues to it.
