YAY!!!! Ok, so we need some simple commands to start with. How about change X by () and change Y by ()? that should be easy to start with?

NO!

Leave them both optional.
Indentations and new lines are so much simpler.

Optional is better, depends on the programmer, if they're coming from scratch, basic or one of the C-style programming languages.
